The VMIVME-5565-11000 may support connection to MESH control networks via standard fiber 100Mbps Ethernet for high-speed data transfer.
Reflected memory technology allows data sharing between nodes with low latency (typically 1 microsecond) and is suitable for mission-critical applications.
Supports communication with multiple fieldbus modules (FBMS), such as up to 128 FBMS when using the FCM100Et or FCM100E fieldbus communication modules.
It can communicate with ZCP270s and Ethernet switches over Ethernet control network, supporting serial and Ethernet device connection.
A unique patented fault-tolerant operation, consisting of two modules running in parallel, provides redundant configuration and greatly improves system reliability.
Support online image update function, can update the controller's executable image without affecting the normal operation of the system.
Time synchronization using optional external time of GPS satellites is supported.
Provides SOE (Event Sequential Logging) and TDRA (Transient Data Logger and Analyzer) functions for recording and analyzing system events.
Supports a variety of control algorithms and FBMS, providing control capabilities for a wide range of process applications.
Compatible with I/A series software v8.4-v8.8 or Foxboro Evo's Control Core Services v9.0 or higher.
